May I allow myself the peace of solitude

It is easy in the world to live after the world’s opinion; it is easy in solitude to live after our own; but the great man is he who in the midst of the crowd keeps with perfect sweetness the independence of solitude.

— Emerson

Theōría (θεωρία), contemplation Is the ultimate culmination Of all thought and action in A performance of reasoning That leisurely explores latent Possibilities around problems Without the need to find answers

And this freedom, this vivikta (विविक्त) Is the act of separating yourself From others, not as a means of Alienating yourself from society, But as a way of separating yourself From the world of things so that you May be free from their influences

For you cannot learn to think by doing Something other than thinking And reflective thinking is to be Spontaneously attentive until Your entire being converges Towards your objective in absolute Stillness of sense and motion

And to fully attend to this deep work This work de longue haleine Is to alternate the flow of thought With the rhythmic movements Of your respiration without Quickening, slackening Or stopping its pace
