May I be judicious instead of judgemental

A judgement is a comparison of one thing with another, based on a single facet of their innumerable complexities.

It is human nature to take up prejudice to ideas without due justification, and afterwards feed on only those things that justify the prejudice.

By judging and dismissing inconvenient ideas you suppress the vital insights they provide as to what is really going on or going wrong.

Wisdom is a measure of how judiciously you choose between the things you like to do that give you bad results and the things you don’t like to do that give you good results.

To be act judiciously is to perceive the unity between disparate interests.

Wisdom is sophia (σοφία)—the skill and craft of the navigator who steers the boat. The wise navigator steers well and his wisdom is the skill with which he makes minor adjustments to counter the vagaries of water, wind, and weight.
