May I be more Emotionally discerning
Experiences deliver themselves to us
All at once and we take them in
Whole: expressions, complexions
Tones, gestures, shapes, and sizes
All the felt aspects of
What Is experienced
Some aspects are known and
Understood; others felt unawares
And all aspects, known and unknown
Is the gestalt — the felt sense of
The experience and its implications
And this fuzzy feeling-texture
Is the only way that our bodies
Know how to hold the complexity
Of experience, later moulded into
Common words that language affords
And to match many different
Vibrant words to each felt aspect
Is to bring each fuzzy detail into
Sharper focus so that they
No longer go unperceived or misallied
For to know them personally is to
Be less reactive the whole
To acknowledge them and
Return them back to their source
