Guided by your sightless eyes
And sounding ear and tongue

And much-experienced habit
For this nexus of consciousness
Gathers around it the opinions,
Feelings, and distorted perceptions
That support and complement its
Fabricated sense of personal identity
And to not attend to the unfolding
Procession of events around you is to
Live in a life of lostness and chance
Slowly spinning out of control
